CAPE SAN DIEGO and ISLAS DE LAS ESTADOS

Land was spotted again at 09h00 this morning as the MS VEENDAM passed the Tip Of SOUTH AMERICA.
It was CAPE SAN DIEGO on TIERRA DEL FUEGO in ARGENTINA that was only just and then very clearly visible on the horizon from the cabin on the Starboard Side of the "MS VEENDAM".
Meanwhile on the Port Side of the "MS VEENDAM" the ISLAS DE LAS ESTADOS became visible through the sea mist giving a clearish view of this desolate outpost right off the Tip of South America.
The skies were mainly cloudy with the odd patch of blue sky appearing with a ray of sunshine sometimes peeping through on the Sports Deck 12 of the "MS VEENDAM".
