MANTA Stopover

As we arrived after dark, there we no photographs taken travelling into or at MANTA itself upon flying in from QUITO, to rejoin the MS VEENDAM in the Port of MANTA in Ecuador.

Although we were able to purchase these 2 world famous and classic styled PANAMA (Montecristo) HATS. Which, suprisingly enough do not come from PANAMA but from ECUADOR.

This is the PANAMA (Montecristo) HAT that has been handmade in the  classic white colour and was requested by our doctor.

This is the PANAMA (Montecristo) HAT that has been handmade in the traditional natural colour and will be worn by us both.

Both of which had been handmade in the Town of MONTECRISTO which lies just outside the borders of the City of MANTA and is known throughout the world for these original and official PANAMA (Montecristo) HATS.
